Saint-Malo is a city rich in history, known mainly for its ramparts.

The city has attracted many writers and painters, such as François-René de Chateaubriand, one of the great names of French literature. It was also the scene of great maritime stories, and illustrious navigators passed through its port. Among them were Jacques Cartier, René Duguay-Trouin and Robert Surcouf.

Today, Saint-Malo attracts many visitors for its cultural heritage, its beaches and the unique atmosphere of the Cité Corsaire.
